I'm of an older generation, so refinancing with people I couldn't see was a bit uncomfortable for me. Let me also mention that the fear of getting scammed was on my mind (tying in with not dealing face-to-face in an office/bank that I could walk into). Yeah my initially was speaking with ****** trying to find out I got pre-approved the month in and I got disapproved turn back around got a reapproved and a couple weeks later I just got disapproved and reapproved three more times I'm a first time home buyer how does that happen to anybody I never dealt with like this my life

You can can actually use ****** to search "LoanDepot Harassment" and get plenty of information. Class action lawsuit filed for robo calls, not heeding National Do Not Call Registry. I used LoanDepot service to look into rates for Consolidation loan in December 2021 and I have had daily calls, emails, paper spam mail since then nonstop. If this was a person stalking or harassing me then I could file a restraining order but because it's a business they get away with this. Ive been avoiding this survey but since Ive been asked again.Without going into full detail, after a previous horrible experience with RocketMortgage Which I expressed to this employee, yet again I was betrayed and almost totally gave up on this company. Wonderful customer service. Efficient and timely. They kept us informed all the way. Showed us ways to save money. Never felt confused during the process or worried that it wouldn't work out. Would definitely choose them again.

I had a LoanDepot mortage. The loan was in my ex husbands name with the property deed in both our names. In my divorce , I was awarded the property and for over 2 years have been in a battle with LoanDepot to have them honor the court order to have communication with me which they refused. They made me go through hoops even though they had the court order them to speak with me. My ex husband was deemed mentally ill and was in a mental facility. Overall LoanDepot was very professional, courteous and well organized and communicated well and the website was fairly easy to navigate and upload documents. The closing costs seemed. But higher than a few of my other quotes I received however the interest rate from LoanDepot was o.1% lower so it probably balanced out Ive r the long run. I wa treated with respect through the entire process and would recommend them to others.

Agent was friendly, but they constantly forgot my information. Constantly was asking for documents there didn't exist because they were used to them existing. They basically didn't listen to my problem, i was a number to them. Not sure what else to expect from a mortgage company, but smooth process was not it.
