Overall experience was very disappointing. I provided all required financial information during he first few days of the underwriting process. My application to refinance was subsequently denied due to debt to income ratio. This denial came after the completion and review of the appraisal costing $495.00 and the request by Loan Depot to have my homeowners insurance increased and the endorsement changed to Loan Depot. I am satisfied with the service I received from LoanDepot I had not heard of LoanDepot before this company came up in a conversation with my realtor. Of course, I had other options and I researched all of them. After comparing reviews and rates, I decided to go with LoanDepot. The process was easy but complete. My loan officer was knowledgeable and responsive to questions. I am very happy I chose LoanDepot and would use this company again. (this review has been cross-posted on other sites)

This team was very professional and made the online process smooth. They were upfront and didnt try to force anything on me. Had one minor issue but lending officer worked on it to give me a positive outcome. I would recommend Loan Depot to anyone looking to do on line refinancing.

Worst experience I have ever had with a business, let alone with a mortgage. Loan depot was the underwriter for our mortgage and had our file for over 3 weeks prior to the scheduled closing date. I guess they decided they didnt need to look at anything until 2 days prior to closing, ignored all of the documentation that had already been uploaded, and were utterly incompetent with their communication and ability to do their job. Absolutely the best experience I have ever had when refinancing my home mortgage! I have refinanced loans numerous times a even refinanced with a current lender but this new loan was less costly, easier and faster than my current lender could even offer. I never write reviews but I was so impressed that I had to share my experience with others. Also, their policy on refinancing will keep me working with Loan Depot for all of my future needs.
