I was a customer of Loan Depot for 7 years. When I decided to refinance with another company Loan Depot retailiated by paying my taxes 10 days earlier so they didn’t have to refund my tax escarow . It was Malisious and mean spirited. It was never paid so early in the month. (The 18th) in 7 years. So unethical and mean.

If I could give less than one start I would. The process of getting a mortgage loan through Loan Depot is the worst experience I have every had with any type of loan process. I should have taken the first time we refinanced through Loan Depot as a warning sign to never trust this company again. The persons who helped the first and second time were not knowledgeable, they ran my credit without our approval, and the process took greater than 10 months. I cannot say enough good things about my experience here. Everyone I interacted with was extremely helpful, and kind. I asked countless questions, many times back to back and never felt like I was bothering or frustrating anyone. I had representatives call me to walk me through processes. I cannot recommend Loan Depot highly enough.

Their use of the term "customer support" is an oxymoron. Hours wasted on the phone trying to speak to someone to only get transferred again and again without anyone actually getting on the phone to help. Their online site is always down so obtaining information on one's mortgage is impossible and when you try to utilize their chat site, it doesn't work. Am refinancing with another organization just because they are TERRIBLE!

My experience of Refinancing home mortgage with Loan Depot for the given staff was a night mare. I really don't like. I have told this multiple times to all the staff members also who involved in my refinancing process. I would never recommend loan depot to anyone. I felt I been cheated, manipulated, lied, poor customer service, no communication at all on process. All phones call and emails are records if you need real evidences. My loan is still in process but the customer service and technology has been excellent thus far.
