I submitted my info to lending tree and I was contacted by loan depot. They wasted my time and then ran my credit despite my explicitly telling them not to run it. They then called me being very pushy so I hung up. A few days later I received an entire application packet to fill out. (This is how I was able to see my credit was ran.

Very poor customer service. I have been calling weekly and turning in requested documentation to get my escrow analysis completed to be accurate and reasonable. Loan Depot did not contact the tax assessor in my area when revising my escrow analysis; the tax estimate they provided was more than twice the high-end estimate from my county tax assessor. ZERO STARS - Like several other below, MY REFI RATE WAS LOCKED ON 12/14/2020 AND STILL AFTER 4 MONTHS MY LOAN HAS NOT BEEN CLOSED. There has not been a single issue from my side on the loan application or credit or income history and I have responded to every document request the very same day but they have just been sitting on my loan for so damn long costing several thousand $ in extra mortgage payments. I was expecting some delays in negotiating this refinance because of COVID, but nothing like what we’ve experienced. This process has been a nightmare for almost seven months.
