I'm very shocked to read some of the negative reviews on here. I have refinanced twice with Loan Depot and found the entire process to be beautifully managed, quick, and with very nice and knowledgeable loan officers. They were attentive, contacted me often, and easy to reach both times. I have to wonder if some of the complainers had situations like bad credit that were the real cause of their delays.

constantly calls me from an Ontario, NY phone number (same area code as my cell phone) but does not leave a voicemail. The occasions a voicemail has been left is a recorded message from "Savannah from Loan Depot". I was already denied a loan so not sure why I am getting calls 3 to 4 times per day!

Loan Depot has the worst customer service of any mortgage/banking company I've ever utilized, and I have bought 4 homes! I attempted to refinance my primary residence with them and it was by far the worst experience possible. We submitted the initial application in December of 2020. We had supporting documentation submitted not even 1 week later. This was by far the worst loan process I have experienced. The loan consultant was misinforming & inexperienced. The processor was rarely available. I dealt with manager after manager with zero help. Customer satisfaction was completely ignored. Closed on March 19th & did not receive funds until the 30th because of numerous mistakes. Loan Depot's communication process is terrible.

Great experience Sonya is EXCELLENT, she told me exactly what I needed to do to get my credit score where it needed to be to qualify, after three years of working on my credit with her help and guidance I was able to qualify for a mortgage. She has been GREAT with answering any questions, concerns, etc.... that I have and helping guide me along the process to hopefully purchase my first new home!!!

the online process and initial call was great. The various factors affecting the loan were communicated aside from interest rate. So, great job selling your loan program. I narrowed it down to you and better.com. there web loan origination was very complicated and difficult. they were set it and forget it. Kim B***** is the worst experience I have ever dealt with. During the financing of my home Kim "forgot" to add my property taxes to my escrow account and I was sent a $3,000 unexpected bill at the end of the year. Secondly, when I attempted to call Kim to fix the situation she never answered her phone and still has not responded over the timeframe of 1 year. Loan depot itself is also a terrible company. Swift, easy, thorough. Frank's experience actually provided ME with an education about the business and process. He's friendly and efficient. Clearly explaining the process and next steps.
