The loan officer was easy to work with, and acted quickly to start the process of the loan. However, working with the eventual account manager was absolutely terrible. You will not be able to reach them via phone, or email. I had to wait 2 weeks before I would even get a response. Its been over 60 days, and the loan still hasn't closed! Steer away.

LoanDepot did give me good refinance rate however; they took more than 4 and half months to close it. Various loan officer assigned to my straight refinance application and they dont respond, return to phone call or VM and I was clueless for weeks, how do I get any engagement. There are many things can be improved in my opinion. 1. Dedicated relationship officer for a given loan so customer can directly contact one person for all question till it gets closed 2. Recently i contacted Loandepot for my Refinance and the agent i worked with Mr. Enrico C**** seems to be knowledgeable and was able to discuss with me the options that i can chose. Only thing i am very unhappy is with their hefty Origination fee. Their loan processing time to be expedited as it's taking weeks. Sofar My loan refinance experience is good with them. I will give more reviews once my loan gets closed.

Communication abysmal. Took over three months from application that will "just be a couple weeks" to closing, and now over a month from closing to settlement and it's still not done. Emails and phone calls rarely returned.

Customer service is spread out across the country and you miss out on a smooth experience. They constantly have cookie problems making it impossible for you to upload documents. They need a better system for Customer interface and passing custody of documents.

Called 7 times to get to the bottom of an innacurate refund amount. Each time we called, the answer was different. Even the escalation manager could not figure out we had been shorted funds back in a refi transaction. Contacted loan officer multiple times, no reply. Promises all broken, all lip service. Scammers.

Began receiving phone calls from them at 9:09 this morning 3-24-2021 about refinancing my home loan. I just bought the house in August of 2020 so I am not interested in refinancing. I ended up speaking with one person the second time they called and told them I was not interested in their service. Since speaking with them I received 10 more phone calls from them. Like several others that give Loan Depot 1 star I had several of the same problems. My loan officer Shay Pena was the worst loan officer I've ever worked with over the course of 30 years and over a dozen new home loans or refis. My refi which was pretty straightforward took and still took over 100 days and weeks would go by with no communication from Ms. Pena even after I would leave several emails and vms. Loandepot.---- ZERO (0) STARS - ZERO (0) RANKING!!! I Had to give 1 star in order to place it on this platform. This company is about what they can get from you, not what you can benefit from them!
