The entire process was horrible and the employees we delt with couldn't have been worse. I could write a novel on how bad the process was but it's not worth spending anymore of my time on this company. I just recommend you look elsewhere. Our loan took 4 months to close

We are working with LoanDepot on a refinance and the experience has been exactly as described by many others here in the reviews. Our documentation has been requested multiple times even though it was provided in full within hours of their request. Our loan officer has never (not a single time) returned any of our attempts to communication with her. We have left countless emails, phone messages, and internal messages via their portal. It was faster than going through a bank and I was was very happy with the load officer. Had problems with the processor, not communicating well.

Joey M***** kept me informed of everything and always responded quickly to any questions i had. The 8 I gave for timeliness of the loan was due to a delay the state was responsible for Not Loan Depot.] Loan Depot did what I needed rapidly. Looked out for me and reduced costs that made no sense

Process for refinancing was ridiculously long even during a pandemic. Took 6 months (July 2020-Jan 2021) and an extreme lack of communication from the agents and upper management. Numerous emails and calls that were never responded to. Only way to get things moving was to contact customer service. There is NO customer service here. Lost $1500 waiting for the refinancing to go through. Loan Depot and Jarrett B**** was highly recommended by some of my wife's co-workers. We decided to give them a try and we got our refinance loan funded in 2 weeks! We got an estimate on new payment, closing costs and fees minutes after the initial call, we were pleasantly surprised since it was after hours and Jarrett was so helpful. Bunch of scammers working for loandepot, they try to cheat customers in every step possible, they will give you a great rate buy hiding the fact that they are buying points and rolling all the costs into the loan saying we are lowering monthly payments.
