Horrible loan processing time, I was promised to get my loan refinance closed in 30 to 45 days. I understand due to recent low rates in market, loan depot folks were busy ! It took 121 days for them to get my loan closed after following up with them for approximately 43 times. The initial loan officer (Rohan S*****) was better at least he used to respond after sometime, whereas the Sr Account Manager(Makenna D***i) was horrible and not even once reached out proactively to update or check on my loan status and never picks her... read more

We've used previously but this experience for a refinance has been a nightmare. We've signed papers twice since February and still no funding. Now going on 2 months behind on mortgage due to incompetent handling of due diligence. I've had to do the phone calling and follow ups for everything. They admit to wrongful doing but still no results resolved.

My loan was transferred to loan depot after I refinanced my home. I had billing issues after they kept trying to increase my mortgage due to no known reason. Finally after multiple calls and complaints the issue was resolved. I then got a 100% disabled veteran award letter from the VA allowing me property tax exemption. I sent the letter to loan depot and my tax exemption was granted. After 7 months of my exemption property taxes was tacked back onto my mortgage. DO NOT USE! This was a horrible experience. The initial lending officer was good; however the loan processor was awful! I am glad to finished with them and will never work with them again!

went to another mortgage company because we didn't like Loan Depot....Our new loan paid them off the 18th of last month and they were suppose to send our money from our impound account back in 20 business days and today is 27 business days didn't include weekends and talked to them again today and they said they mailed the check out the 13th........today is the 26th and to give it another 14 days to receive it?????? Loan process is smooth and closed on time. Funding the loan is also on time. Excellent communication by the staff is very good.
Started a loan refinance in November and we just closed in April. I still have 12-15 closing disclosures all with different amounts due to borrower and amounts needing to pay at closing. They are horrible at responses and keeping you updated. Today I got a letter stating a new balance due even though the loan already closed!
