This company is not a reputable company. I have been working on a loan with this company since the beginning of January. I was completely misled that my loan would be closed by the end of the month of January. I am typing this on 4/20 and the company still is requesting the same information I have provided them with numerous times. They are unresponsive and lie. This was the worst of many loan experiences we've had, buying 3 primary homes over time, refinancing some rental properties. While the economics of the offered loan were quite good (great rate and closing costs), the customer service and follow-up was, simply, terrible. Emails and voice mail went unanswered, we couldn't get updates and then would suddenly be asked for yet another document, the need for which was not communicated to us, we had to trip across it by asking what our status was. My primary contact was James C** at Loan Depot. They did not add my spouse to the title, the Notary said it would get corrected, James and Steve P*** were in the loop and now they have canceled the second notary who was to come and correct with a quit claim. I'm not pleased.

Loan depot, as a whole, does not deserve, even, 1 star. The person we talked to, when originating the refinance, was the ONLY helpful person in this organization. We began the process on February 1st and have yet to close on the loan. We have sent everything the underwriter has asked for, the same day. When we call any of the team or their supervisors, we don't get a response until days later, if then. This was a very frustrating and drawn out experience. Lots of miscommunication and lots of no communication at all. Our closing was postponed by more than a month. I would be told one thing, and my husband another. Our senior account manager was very unprofessional....the list could go on! I'm not usually one to complain or leave bad reviews, but I feel this needs to be known!

Absolutely useless processing team, started my loan process in Dec 2020. Its been more than 4 month and they are not able to close the loan. Now holding me hostage that they will need to pull my credit again else they will not be able to fund my loan. Two credit pull for one loan is absolutely ridiculous. Though I like the rate and closing cost the processing team was absolutely useless. They stopped responding to my emails, no phone call or anything from there side.
