Phi has been fine; please understand that the scores above aren't a reflection on him specifically, but rather, my experience with your company as a whole. I applied and was declined. Months later, *y'all* called me back and said I did qualify. Got me all excited. Took all my info over the phone again, updated some things. And then declined me again. I was furious. The buyers for my home financed their mortgage through the The LoanDepot's Jacksonville Beach, FL office. Closing was supposed to be on December 29, 2020. The Loan Depot did not inform my buyer's realtor that the closing was off until the day before due to their inability to schedule and complete an appraisal. They pushed the closing back to January 29, 2021 ad the actual closing did not happen until February 1st. The whole process was hell. I was threatened. I was ghosted. I was lied to. AND I had to pay more money out of pocket than originally anticipated. There was no element of customer service . This process also gave me PTSD. Every time, I see LoanDepot's commercial online or on TV, I CRINGE! The customer first attitude you are trying to portray is a LIE! I will NOT recommend LoanDepot to any of my friends or family. I would never wish this HELL upon anyone. This was beyond torture.

What a horrible experience! We started a loan with them in September and towards the end of January it still hadn’t been finalized. We had to start over twice and still they never finished before we decided we have to go with somebody else. Before Christmas they wouldn’t answer our phone calls or emails. I am not sure why. I think it’s because they were so busy or occupied with other peoples’ loans they completely forgot about us, even though we were calling them to find out our status. What a disappointment! I have done refinance twice in last six months (July 2020 and Feb 2021). Adam C***** and his team, did fantastic job both time. Every step of process was great and smooth. Both times offered the best rates and discounts, and closing was completed with in 5 weeks. Strongly recommend LoanDepot and Adam's team for their 5 star service.
