Poor follow up. They sent an email that the loan was funded and that disbursement would take 5 days. They paid a second mortgage, sent me a check for Escrow funds, but have yet to pay off my Mortgage not 12 business days later. They cannot tell me when funds will be dispersed, transfer me around, poor customer service. Not sure how BBB gives them a A rating (per their phone commercial when you are on hold - which you will get well acquainted with trying to find answers). After almost 6 months in underwriting, giving them exactly what they wanted, plenty of asset, 1st mortgage, more than enough income and our credit rating at 835+ they declined our mortgage stating could not verify our self employment income. We’ve been self employed sine 1985, and our CPA verified it This company just waisted our time & money. They charged us for appraisals & credit reports. They are do not have experienced underwriters. Just a waste Beware!!

We settled on LoanDepot because they offered the best rate for the best price. We were wary because of so many sub-par reviews (and the name “LoanDepot”) and knew going in that we might have to stay on top of the process and follow up with the company incessantly to keep things moving. We were right! We were very well qualified, did a basic refinance, had no issue with appraisal, and did not escrow any funds. Everything went smoothly from start to finish. Any time I had questions, they were available right away to take care of anything I had. There was a hiccup in the closing process but it was mostly myself not understanding and it was handled and explained to me right away. I have used this company before and from loan agent to closing agent is very professional and fast. I would definitely use this company again, as I have in the past. They are true to their word. Thank you Loan Depot for all you do.

Everyone involved in the process was very courteous and professional. I was kept informed every step of the way. My lending officer worked hard to get me my loan with a decent interest rate. I am very happy with the results.

i was referred to Loan Depot by a friend who also refinanced with them and i was not very keen at the beginning but the whole process was so smooth and easy and i had the right people on this loan process from the start hence the 5 star, the whole process took maybe 2 month and the team of Joe D**** and Kathy B** were the best team i could ask for. Kudos to the team. **

We have2 loan mortgages with them. On February 17th we made an extra payment to the principal for one of the loans. I kept checking my online account to see when was it going to be posted, but it never did. I finally called them on February 24 to see what was going on, and they did not know where my money was. LoanDepot is a fantastic company to do business with. These guys are the absolute best in the mortgage lending business. I refinanced my mortgage with them and it only took them 2 weeks to close. Everything went like clockwork. The team I worked with was very communicative and quickly responded to all my questions. On top of all of that, they gave me the lowest interest rate out of all the lenders that I was shopping around with. Easy 5 star rating and I didn't have it to think about it.
