Almost IMPOSSIBLE to get in to see my doctor. Takes me two hours to get there and THREE MONTHS on a waiting list to get in. Doctor won't even sign off on my medical equipment anymore. Very disgusted with M.D. Anderson at this point. Not even my case manager will call me back. Biggest waste of my time and money. It's like my life doesn't even matter to them.
I was turned town because of Georgia obamacare..bone cancer..no money but they said I could b a cash patient 15000 first vusit.Does anyone know who I can talk to to get help..Time is of the essence!

I have been a patient here for almost a year now and I couldn't ask for a better cancer center!
MD Anderson saved my life in 2004, when I entered the hospital as a 34 year old mother with two young children... Facing retroperitoneal liposarcoma. Now over 12 years later, with no recurrence of cancer, I am back with a new patient. My 20 year old daughter, who is a happy, thriving student at UTSA. We entered terrified, but once in MDA's care, I feel safe for her again. She is starting down the path to battling lymphoma. No parent ever wants to return to their cancer hospital with their child. The Sarcoma clinic staff and Doctors are great. The problem is my Dad has been an a patient there for a year. His insurance changed (insurance through his employer) and now he is being declined approval for clinical trials. His new insurance doesn't cover trials and MD Anderson won't give financial assistance for their own trial. Come to think of it.. My Dad never received all the reimbursement from his last trial. Reimbursement checks are hard to get and they don't help with their own trials. 3/16...Still can't get an answe... read more

MD Anderson had me fax them my CT scan, liver biopsy and pathology reports. I worked hard trying to get it to them over a two week period. Yesterday they told me they would get back to me in 3-5 days to schedule an appointment. Today they call and inform me that they are not accepting any new patients until some time in April due to a 'data transition'. I informed them that I may be deceased by then. I wasted time and effort while I could have been working with another cancer center. MD Anderson is immoral and reprehensible ... read more
