Dr. Gary Mann and Leigh Samp PA were so good to me. I came from MS because I was diagnosed with a rare cancer, appendix cancer. They were so kind and concerned for me. The nurses were exceptional, and I should know, as I am a critical care ICU nurse of 30 years. The pain management team was exceptional as well. I feel so fortunate to have access to MDA. See you in April for my check up!
MD Anderson DESTROYED My Wife's LUNGS in the MRI Unit. Left her unattended for 20 minutes while she was going through an Anxiety attack for 20 minutes unable to signal for help, yelling and screaming ripping her lung tissue apart in the process. She screamed for 20 minutes after exiting the MRI Machine terrified while we calmed her down for 30 minutes. She coughed up blood for the first time in the recovery room and was placed on O2 at 2.5 L when she came into the MRI not needing O2. The floor supervisor admitted they should... read more

My husband just finished his first round of chemo. The Drs, nurses, and just everyone there is great. So glad we were excepted to go to MD Anderson. He has stage 3 Bladder cancer. The next step is to remove his bladder. Praying the BCG works and they don't have to remove his bladder and we can keep having the chemo for the next three years. Everyone at MD Anderson are wonderful. I want to say thank u from the bottom of my heart.
My son just finished his 4.5 rounds of chemo, and everyone at the hospital has been amazing to us!!! There are so many people there and everyone always made us feel like he was the only patient! We moved to the Houston area last year and I have to say I believe God brought us where he knew we would need to be! We couldn't have asked to be at a better hospital. He still has a long road but we feel confident he will come out of all this just fine with MD Anderson taking care of him.
I THINK THIS HOSPITAL IS DOING A GOOD JOB HELPING PEOPLE WITH CANCER. THEY'RE CHANGING LIVES.
