Corporate has had an opportunity to do something about the fact that the manager at the store refused a vet a discount . I'm just wondering what it was , did this manager get fired like he should have and is it yoir policy that all stores give vets their discounts now ? I would be interested to know what the outcome of this was if anything ? Home Depot ? I think this was truly a disgrace !!! and I will never shop at Home Depot again until I know put in place at all stores
Maybe you should change your policy on vets....I'll go to Menards now or Lowes
To deny a Vet is shameful. I am a 22 year veteran and have never been turn down at HD in Merritt Island, FL. The corporate office needs to respond to this soon because it is going nationwide and Lowes or ACE are just down the street.
Shame on you Home Depot! Do you guys have hearts? How can you treat veteran like that! If you do not want to give discount to veteran, just say it. I will be a loyal customer to Lowe's from now on.
You deny war veteran his discount!!! That's wrong.
I will never shop at any Home Depot again. If they don't support our veterans because their worried about their bottom line. Which I'm sure is millions or billions a year. Can't they afford to give a few vets a 10% discount.
If this manager still has a job, that would be a real shame. Respect the veterans that served! Something I have no doubt this manager did NOT do!
Looks like all who appreciate our veterans should discontinue shopping at Home Depot, in particular this store, until they quit denying veterans the veteran discount!
When you start hiring people like the manager at this store, who have no people skills, then it's time for all of us proud of our military Americans to shop elsewhere. Oh, I'm married to a disabled VET, and the widow of another. Shame on you.

The Home Depot is open now. It will close at 10:00 p.m.
