The Guenther House makes its home in an elegant historic mansion on the property of Pioneer Flour Mills in the historic King William area. From its not-so-humble beginnings as the home of Carl Hilmer Guenther in 1860, it has been restored into one of the more unique dining experiences in the city. The breakfast menu (served all day) offers Southern Sweet Cream Waffles and breakfast tacos, among other items. At lunch, choose from such entries as Champagne Chicken Enchiladas and Pioneer Taco Salad.

Great place to eat, friendly staff & love the vintage environment there.
The breakfast was great, though normally I am not a biscuits and gravy person. I tried theirs at the end of the meal......simply Amazing!!!
The food was great, looking at the small museum is good to pass the time while you wait to be seated. The history behind it if very cool.
Amazingly beautiful and the food was great! We waited 1 hour and 30 min. We are not from San Antonio but definitely would come back.

Absolutely amazing! Food was great and couldn't ask for better service! Beautiful time of year so we were able to sit outside! The history was facinating, the house was interesting..... Highly recommend everyone to go here! I will certainly be going back!
