From its not-so-humble beginnings as the home of Carl Hilmer Guenther in 1860, it has been restored into one of the more unique dining experiences in the city. The breakfast menu (served all day) offers Southern Sweet Cream Waffles and breakfast tacos, among other items. Went in just for a slice of cherry pie and noticed they were not very busy so ended up having lunch. Everything was great as always.
Been coming here since I was little with my family and we continue to come !! It's always amazing food and love how it keeps its history!! We will continue to come as long as it's open!!
Great service. Our waiter/ waitresses we get every time I go there are awesome. I really like the scenery and the seating options. Sitting outside can always be so refreshing and nice when it’s great weather.

The Guenther House is a must see if you’re ever in the area. The history, the food and the ambience alone will make you love it. The friendly gift shop cashier is the sweetest lady ever and so helpful too.
Good food, nice environment, and surprisingly worth the wait.
It was lovely and food was very good. I've been here many times and it was the first for my husband and he loved it. We will be back for sure.
