About this business

After a dramatic 9 hour Texas Hold-em poker game, Dale Francis Wamstad won complete control of the Four Sisters Café. He immediately changed the name to Texas, adding a new flare to the menu, and changing the servers’ outfits to a Texas/Vegas style. Dale, along with his children Dale Tervooren, Dane & Shelby, hopes that the magnificent Texas will reign as a magnificent dining establishment for many years to come.

Excellent food (which it is) isn't the sole component of a dining experience. We were promptly seated and made to feel like family from the outset. Our server John was very knowledgeable of the menu and made us feel like we were his only customers. The atmosphere is great in that it isn't too loud and it is very warm. We were greeted at our table by the owners who we observed interacting with customers throughout our stay. Finally for the food. Best steak I've ever had. We were celebrating our anniversary and have decided th... read more

I had the ribs, creamed potatoes & burnt corn. Just delicious! Burnt corn is sauteed corn with lightly cooked red & green peppers...a bit spicy but delicious! My husband had the sirloin tips with a crab cake on top & lobster sauce which was the perfect taste - not too spicy, not too bland . The sirloin tips were ordered cooked medium but it came out practically still "moo-ing". He sent it back & the cook immediately brought out another, with a smile. The food is wonderful, the service is awesome & staff very attentive. We'll... read more

The food was so amazing!! Chef Ozzy prepared the food to perfection!! From crab cakes, burnt corn and lobster bisque, flash fried chicken with mashed potatoes and green beans, filet mignon with burnt corn and mashed potatoes and dessert of apple cobbler with homemade vanilla bean ice cream... all cook to perfection. And the music was solid country gold... Waylon, Willie, Merle and Hank plus many more. Jeff Soto was in heaven! This is our new favorite place!

Went to Texas on a business trip. The salmon was awesome and the drink choices were great as well. I really enjoyed the burnt corn. The bread was okay, but I would have preferred it sliced for easier sharing at the table.
