Taqueria del Yumm!!! – Yummy yummy yummy is all I have to say!Everything in the menu is absolutely delicious!And the margs are the absolute best!Where are these people that are complaining about this joint coming from?They must not go out often.Rules are rules and if you don't want to follow them stay at home.With the prices and the quality who care if you have to wait a bit in line?With the economy as bad as it is we all should be grateful there is a place like Taqueria!
Beware the fish tacos and table Nazi – While this restaurant has an excellent atmosphere, that's really all it has going for it. The food is not bad -- it attempts to be inventive -- which is also it's downfall. The best example I can give is the order of fish tacos which is basically two manufactured flour tortillas wrapped around some Van De Kamp's fish sticks, with a "spicy" tartar sauce comprised of jalapenos and mayonnaise. this place is awsome – The fish tacos are outta sight, and the pablano corn chowder is yummy! Pretty decent service from peoplr who always seem to be trying real hard to get you seated.
You'll love it or hate it – The Taq is simply one of those places you're going to love or hate. If you don't mind possibly waiting in line for a little while to order with the knowledge you'll be getting inexpensive, quality food, you'll love it. THE ABSOLUTE WORST – This place is awful! After reading the many positive reviews posted here (and ignoring the negative ones), I decided to try out Taqueria del Sol. This turned out to be the worst dining experience of my life. The staff are unbelievably nasty--and for no apparent reason! Are they bitter about being middle aged and having to wait tables? Seriously, what's the problem, guys? And the food was mediocre at best. I'll NEVER go back!
Excellent Value – I have been to Taqueria Del Sol several times and have been pleased with the food each time. Highly recommended for those looking for good food at inexpensive prices.
Trendy, industrial type setting & Cheap! – Love this place. the food was fresh and the atmosphere upbeat and trendy. Will be a regular customer. :) on top of that it was dirt cheap! oh yeah, I would highly recommend having a margarita there. Their well tequila is Cuervo Gold.
Eddie is the best – Great southwestern food can be found at this establishment. They have a differnt "Blue Plate"special each week. Eddie the cook is the best. The pork green chili is excellent as well as the roasted beef brisket taco with a red chile sauce, cilantro and onions
Taqueria Del Cool – This joint provides inside and outside dining. Homemade ritas and awesome eats! Very, very long lines though but worth the wait!
