Great food! – But get there early for lunch...like around 11:15am! The line ends up in the parking lot every day, but it moves fast and is well worth it.
Terrific food that I won't eat again – I love the food at Taqueria. But the folks there are so rude that we won't go back. Sad because the fish tacos are truly addictive. I've seen people be asked to leave when they are finishing drinks. I've seen people berated for coming late when the kitchen is getting ready to close. fast delicious lunch – Prepare to wait in line for a good 30 minutes if you arrive at peak lunch hour. Once you order is placed, however, service is quite speedy. I make a point to eat a Taqueria Del Sol at least once a week. I highly recommend the "Memphis" taco (BBQ and cole slaw) and the "Fried Chicken" taco (fried chicken, mayo and fresh tomatos). Unlike the food at sister restraunt Sundown Cafe, the tacos are not drowning in grease. Check out the patio for a beautiful view of the Atlanta skyline!
A great lunch fix – Folks rave about the tacos, but the enchiladas are a cheap and tasty alternative. And sinful corn chowder is a meal in itself. Do be prepared for a wait. This place is popular and during the lunch rush, the line often snakes out the door.
Lighten up – The employees must not be that rude and the food must not be that bad: Every time I've gone, the line has extended out of the doorway. I'm not sure what rules everyone is talking about? I've never experienced (or seen any one else experience) rude treatment from the wait staff. As for the food, these are $2-$3 tacos, not culinary masterpieces. The tacos come out hot, tasty and well-prepared. The salsa sampler platter is a must.
