We first opened in Metairie, Louisiana in 1984 and we currently own and operate locations in states across the country!

The company in Chesapeake did not put my oil pan back on properly which blew my engine and the company is refusing to pay.

I had them do any oil change and they cracked my oil pan and refused to replace it.

will tell you an oil change for your car is a certain price. Then when you drive to it, they have your car in the bay with the hood up. they will up the price by telling you they don't have that oil right now, you will have to go with a 20 dollar or more one. Or telling you, that you were not told that price on the phone

The information provided by this customer is completely inaccurate. The customer contacted the call center and was provided a base price by the information given about her vehicle. If a customer contacts our call center and does not have the year, make, model and engine size for the vehicle, the customers are provided base pricing for any of our oil changes offered. Show up and wait a hour for an oil change because workers don't want to show up for their shifts and do their jobs then a "assistant manager lady" comes strolling in late with an attitude and her child with her. I'm sure kids shouldn't be inside take 5 building all day while the parent works. While I was there the child came onto the floor and called for her "mom" 3 times in the amount of time I was there. She was also rude to other employees that were actually doing their jobs

The information was escalated to the district manager. The issue has been addressed, in addition, after reviewing the surveillance video, the customer did not wait for an hour for service, shop #6 was open at 7AM. There is fabrication to this complaint. Take 5 in chalmette shop#6 needs to get it together. Got there at opening and still had to wait an hour because an assistant manager lady didn't show up and only 2 guys were there. Then she strolls in 45 mins late with sonic and young child with her. Finally gets on the floor 15 mins later and just walks around like she's lost before airing up some tires. This is the 2nd complaint from this customer to the BBB with the exact same wording. We already responded to the first complaint and I also emailed the customer when she contacted customer service on July 23rd. See below. My ac wasn't working. They put a compressor on it and it still blows hot and cool air. The compressor was not necessary and didn't fix the problem.

I have been coming here for maybe a year and everyone has always been very nice and done a great job. Not today! The boy who I'm assuming is the manager was horrible. His hair was not taken care of at all and his demeanor was very off putting. He walked up to my car with an attitude. The other men working were nice. I specifically asked for my tires to be checked because I had a light for low tire pressure. When I left I noticed my light was still on. Awful service and business. I have a car warranty that came with my car to get it serviced anywhere! Take it here they refuse to service me. Upon leaving i call my provider and of course I can use it there. Long story short they said the technician was just too lazy to make a phone call and get paid. Never EVER going back!

I'm not one to complain at all but I just wanted to share my experience with take 5 oil change on oak street. I was recommended to use them, they were really nice and fast. I definitely was going to go back to them. I checked my bank account two days later to see that they charged me a total of 4 times. I went up there as soon as I saw and was told it would take weeks to get it back, later that day I was told that the manager talked to his supervisor and that my money would be back in 3-5 business days. Take 5 does not charge customers multiple times. this was clearly a mistake at the shop and I would be glad to rectify this problem for the customer. I searched our customer ticket database and searched by the customers first & last name and email address and there were no attempts to contact the corporate office to rectify this over charge. Please have Ms. ****** send a copy of the bank statement for the over charge to ********************************** and I will gladly refund this customer.
