Have a 2018 ****** Altima that has a blown head gasket, #1 value engine caused my piston to brake and timing chain to slip from a lack of oil immediately after I received my last oil change (I thought I received) there. The mechanic said I never got a correct oil change and the wrong oil was being put in my car. A 2018! Afterwards I found out 5 people I know experienced the exact same thing after going there for a oil change. They should never be allowed to operate and should be closed down for charging that much for a oil c... read more

My wife recently had her oil changed at take 5 Battleground location, ********** **. As soon as we noticed a leak, checked the oil= bone dry. I had to put a quart just to safely drive it to the nearest Take 5 Nth main **********, **. The manager there '****' outstanding job at calming me down, addressing my concerns. He informed me that the drain plug was not even installed hand tight and the gasket was bad. On video, described whst he found and said "Yes. Its our fault. That should have never happened. So I drive to back to... read more
I visited one of your locations on 4APR22 at 2:32 pm. Long story short I came in for an oil change and during the process your team broke my transmission dipstick tube. ******************* (Mgr on duty) assisted his team members with trying to repair the mishap but was unsuccessful, at which time he called an auto parts store and handed me a part number stating I could pick up the part from there and have it installed. I told him I was visiting from ****************** ** and was getting back on the road soon after my oil cha... read more

I took my car for an oil change and they broke a part of the oil filter off down inside the oil filter housing. They told me I would need to take it to a mechanic to get it out. Long story short it ended up costing me a $1000.
Business response:
Take 5 Shop #**** located at *********************************************** is not a corporate owned Take 5, Shop #**** is a franchise owned location. I have notified the franchise that the review was submitted by the customer. Please direct this review to the franchise owner so he may respond appropriately. I opened case TAK-****** documenting this review and escalated it over to the franchise shop.
Took a Kia ****** to take 5 on navy blvd and they put too much oil in the car. Left take 5 and the car stalled dead on the interstate. Had it towed to ********* in ********* and they said it was the starter and replaced it for $500. My dad told me it wasnt the starter but I trusted them. I left there and it stalled again. Back to ********* it goes. They wouldnt touch it again and told take 5 to come and get it because there was too much oil in it. Take 5 got it and said the oil was filthy after the oil change and there was t... read more
Very unprofessional company. Took my vehicle in for service in November and waited in the bay for over 45+ minutes just for employee to tell me they dont have the correct oil for my vehicle, he proceeds to tell me to go buy the oil and bring it back and theyll do it for free. I respectfully declined considering I waited all that time for nothing. Soon as I drove off my entire transmission panel fell from under my car where they failed to put my skrews back on. I reached out to multiple managers and sent over follow-up reques... read more
I went to a **** dealership and have in writing that the business who did my oil change cut my splash guard instead of removing it to do the oil change. Ive contacted corporate and the manager and they refuse to hold themselves accountable for damaging my car. This part being damaged can result in damage to my computer system and everything under my hood. I paid for a service and in return they damaged my car.
Business response:
Take 5 did not cut this customers skid plate. This review has no justification. Take 5 would have no need to cut the skid plate on a 2007 Mercury Milan. The skid plate is equipped with access panels to service the oil filter and drain plug. Therefore Take 5 would have no need to cut the skid plate. In addition the skid plate on the Mercury Milan is made of 7 millimeter resin plastic and Take 5 does not carry any tools in any of our oil change shops that could cut this material. This skid plate was damaged prior to service at... read more
