I am writing today to report our experience with Take 5 during a recent oil change. It began pleasantly enough as we were greeted warmly by ...............in the parking lot as we drove to the entry to the garage. As our vehicle was guided into place, we were surrounded, hive-like, by many young men and one young lady. took my mazda 3 for oil change 1/7/21 because sign said discount on oil change. paid 67.00, most expensive oil change I've ever had. only completed 5 out of 15 services on check list. 3 days later I have white smoke coming from my exhaust pipe which has never happened prior to oil change. went back that day, they said it's condensation from the cold weather, I LIVE IN FLORIDA!! now 14 days later the problem has gotten worse. I would not recommend take 5 oil change to anyone. beware!
THIS IS LOCATED ON 91 / 322 TAKE5OILCHANGE. I WENT THERE AND THERE WAS ONLY 1 CAR IN THE BAY, THEY PULLED ME IN AND I WAITED 45 MINUTES TO BE TAKEN CARE OF. THE MANGER CAME TO MY CAR AND SAID IT WOULD BE A FEW MINUTES. MIND YOU THE CAR THAT WAS IN THE GARAGE WHEN I PULLED IN LEFT AFTER 40 MINUTES LATER. Good Afternoon, I visited the store # 392 @ 6059 Florida Ave S, Lakeland FL 33813 on November 18, 2020. I visited that store because it is close to my house and I thought it would be convenient to build a relationship with this store as we have just moved to Lakeland. The employees are dishonest, unprofessional and under the influence of something. We requested our vehicle to be serviced with regular maintenance & simple parts change that we provided. Well they took extra long, were goofing around and place smelled of something like marijuana. One worker kept some of our new parts, to be later return elsewhere for credit or merchandise. Jonathan H, the Manager for this particular location was very polite and professional, as well as his assistant his svce tech Pit Pierce. I have been to 3 locations so far. This one has been the cleanest and most on point so far. Everything I needed in the oil change was done efficiently, showing me every thing and not pushing an unnecessary filter or blades etc... I was in an out of there in 15 minutes. Good location.
I took my explorer here on Saturday 9/26 about 3pm to get an oil change and I will never go back. I was told I had a coolant leak and it would be dangerous to perform the oil change before the coolant leak was fixed so they gave me an estimate for the leak of $1,691.11. I later took it to car pro on 281 and there was nothing wrong with my car in fact the coolant was over the level line and still is. I have checked it every day since. They have your car leaking oil and write racial comments underneath your car, then lie about. The video confirms that they wrote on my car. Please be aware, and don't use them.
This is for the location Carrollton, TX I WISH I COULD GIVE A (0-RATING). "BEWARE TAKE 5 OIL CHANGE SHOPS, THEY ARE A SCAM"!!! I was told on 4/25/19 by the (Manager-JOSH) that I would be receiving a refund. Today I was told by (Manger & he stated, the Region Manager) decided NO refund would be given to me.
