Sun setter has not helped me at all with remote used to power my awning. The remote stopped working after 2 years (broken). They charged me and sent a new remote that doesnt work at all. They couldnt help with service when I called. They will send another cheap remote. They are not helpful at all with customer service. They dont have a field service rep to help.
was a prior customer but after over 22 years of their so called- "Limited Time Offer" re:$200.00 gift certificate, realize that there's NO limit to this offer and thus DECEPTIVE! We purchased two of SunSetter Solar Easy Shades that we bought through ******* We haven't used them all that much (possibly several dozen times over the last 4 years) and when we returned to ******* from up North in November, we tested the shades. One was working fine, while the other shade did not work. We finally got it to work, but only sporadically, and when it did work, it went "down" pushing the "up" button, and "up using the "down" button. OMFG! Do NOT order anything from this company! Ordered awning in August. Wrong parts shipped. Waited...waited. I asked for a refund and then they they sent me ***** mailing labels and a strange box that you can't fold up. Sent back October 19th. They could not look up my tracking number that THEY sent me! They were then going to short me a couple hundred bucks and said this was an exception?!!! And I need to wait a couple more days!!! Wait?! WTF! We regret you were not able to make the awning your ordered work for your application. We can see looking at your account that you have already been refunded in full. Our return policy states you have a 90 day in home trial, and if you are not satisfied you may return the awning less a 10% restocking fee and original shipping cost. The policy exception we made for you was to waive the restocking fee and refund your shipping. Thank you for giving SunSetter a try, we wish we could have kept you as a customer.
This company collects your information and sends it to Fraud contractors who come, measure, and take your check. They dont answer your calls after that. I called the Sunsetter number routed from customer service to another agent who told me to deal with it directly. They have zero responsibility owning it, I can clearly see my orders etc., on their site and still rejected to help me out with dealer. Never give your information to these fraud companies.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!! FROM THE VERY DAY I PUSHED THE ***** BUTTON IT HAS BEEN NOTHING BUT A NIGHTMARE. This company is all sunny until they have to deliver your product to you. We got a call from the shipping company who had the audacity to say that you have to take the product off of their truck after you pay for shipping and handling. Fast forward to the refund process - I asked for a refund since I could not get the product - a 20 ft x 9 ft 200 lb awning delivered properly and 30 days, 27 calls later, I still don't have my refund.
