Unfortunately this hospital is the only one around me that has a pediatric ER so I don't have a choice when it comes to my boys or trust me I would go elsewhere and have thought about driving farther just so I don't have to deal with this staff. The last 2 or 3 times that I've been here there was a nurse named Jenna that was beyond rude and made me feel stupid for bringing my boys in. Summerlin Hospital is the best hospital in Vegas!I recommend this Hospital to everyone
Went to the e.r. with high blood pressure in December 15. Second time I had been to the hospital with uncontrolled blood pressure. The E.R. was good got me right in and gave me nitro, then gave me 40 MG of lasinopril. I was admitted to get my BP under control. Next morning a doctor saw me for 2 minutes ,they gave 20 MG of lasinopril not 40 . Later that afternoon told me I could go home took my BP it was160 over 85 not controlled ,told me to lay down and took it of course lower sent me home. Total waste of time and money. Nev... read more
I came here for shortness of breath and pain when I breath. I was seen immediately by a very friendly staff. I was given an EKG and an X-ray within 10 minutes. They gave me extra blankets, did blood work and made funny small talk. I hate going to the hospital but the ER staff here are wonderful and very helpful.
I was hesitant about returning to Summerlin Hospital after a stay back in March of 2015 that left much to be desired. I reluctantly agreed to having a surgery done here in November. I am beyond pleasantly surprised with the outcome. The surgery had a couple of unexpected surprises that led to an unexpected long stay and return to the hospital. The women's wellness center should have a phone DIRECT to their office so when your patients that you guys care about call, they get to talk to more than an automated system. So inconvienenf for patients who waited over a month for an appointment
Best hospital i have been to hands down they actually care and listen and unlike alot of place there nice shocker i know right
Very frustrated with the treatment and lack of communication regarding my son. 5 days and no answers, no NG tube, no surgery no nothing. He could have stayed home with the bowel obstruction and suffered there in pain for freen if we knew nothing would be done to correct the issue at the hospital. I sure hope they aren't just milking the insurance and making him suffer at their expense. Room 573.
