Summerlin Hospital Medical Facility is my first time experience. Because of insurance changes and needing a new obgyn. I was refered to and consulted with Dr Swainston in his office. His schedule/surgery "is quite booked up" I was informed by his front desk persons. Yet, due to presentation summary I received a call that following Monday. With social media making it so easy for people to be snarky online in evaluating businesses, it's refreshing when your customer experience is excellent. I checked in yesterday morning with severe flu symptoms. Was admitted into an ER evaualtion room within 5 minutes. Everyone was very professional but friendly and welcoming. I saw no fewer than five people before heading out for xrays and eventually a catscan. The nurses had great attitude and the irish doctor had great bedside manners. Lol Seriously they were awesome caring people.
Id like to start off by saying thanks to the Doctors for the successful surgery they did on my wife. Her surgery was on Thanksgiving day so no turkey for her, until Sunday when she came home. So thanks again. I also have to say that me and my wife are very upset because her wedding ring was stolen while she was in surgery on Thanksgiving day. It was placed inside her cell phone wallet along with her belongings in a plastic bag. So there's no way it can get lost on its own. Staff on 5th floor didn't even seem to care. This ri... read more
My mom is Lolita Hollis and is on the 3rd floor. Every person who works here is so wonderfully accommodating. Each person is kind and so pleasant. I stay in the room with my mom and everyone listens to my concerns and does what they can to help take care of things for my mom. We stayed here for 12 days in August and my mom was so well taken care of. Our nurses were Carl the first day he was awesome and Rhona today, she was amazing. I was treated with the best staff and Doctor's, Nurses, CNA's. My stay at Summerlin Hospital was very pleasant and all I can say is good things towards everyone on the 4th Floor, thank you all for helping me feel good after what I went through while I was there.
My boyfriend is currently a patient. Although the staff are all very friendly, there is a serious lack of communication, and the "hourly" rounding is a joke. His stay has been nothing but miscommunication, delays, forgotten meal trays, cold food, the wrong food order, and frustration. I have been an RN for 26 years, and while I do understand some of this, I cannot be with him 24 hours a day to explain everything. The staff needs to communicate this to the patient.
