It's an amazing hospital over all!!! Our family loves it!! Our youngest child was born there great staff! She had to be in the NICU for 5 days she had incredible attention from every nurse and dr.. My oldest had surgery got his appendix taken out almost 2 yrs. Ago same amazing attention my son received from drs. and nurses. Excellent childrens hospital!!!
Overall not bad but I was in for an unexplained black out. No EEG done. It would've explained a lot
Summerlin Hospital Intensive Care unit. I am writing `this review of the Summerlin Hospital ICU unit. The reason that I am here writing this is because of Janet Wright and the professional staff of the ICU. I was brought in really rough shape and went septic during the evening. The changes in my status were noted and the appropriate medicines and treatment began to pull me out of a very serious situation. Nurses were standing around the center (right outside our room) laughing and joking saying they could tell school just started because they had 5 suicidal kids and no room for them all. They said that privacy is important, however from our room we could hear kids' full names, dates of birth and the reason for their visit. Highly unprofessional staff. We will never return here.
The nurses & techs were very friendly. They took me I right away. The doctors & nurse's were extremely nice & respectful.
Yesterday I walked in with a few serious issues and within minutes I was being treated with nothing but courtesy and respect. Kudo's to the two nurses doing initial screenings who got me moved to a room within 5 minutes. RN Aubrey, can not say enough about your compassion and skills. Same with Dr. Hudson. I am a paramedic- This hospital is slow to provide service but quick to threaten to send to collections when I told them the rate I would pay the bill would be as slow as they were to provide service. They did not like that. I now always recommend HCA hospitals or UMC instead of the money hungry VHS hospitals
OMG...they just told the family in this 2 bed room he has cancer and left. Really wouldn't have to hear this if weren't waiting on another incompetent provider who haven't seen or heard from in 6 hrs. Vegas healthcare at it's finest. ....NOT
My dad has been waiting at the ER for over 5 hours and still no bed to treat him. Has extreme high blood pressure and very low sodium levels. Good hell, does someone need to be in cardiac arrest in order to get treated at this place?
