If you have a choice...STAY AWAY!!! In all my years I have never had so such much difficulty with trying to continue cobra coverage...Aetna has sent me in circles and it has taken me months to get things straight with them, It should've never taken hours upon hours to clean up their mess and I am for sure disgusted and hoping that I neeever have to speak with them again.

The website for making a payment to SilverScript is impossible to use, it refuses to recognize my password even after resetting it. The only way is to use the sign in as a guest, what? You do that for buying clothes one time from a site, but insurance you must be a member to make a payment. Their support team is clueless in resolving the issue.

I went to pick up my critical prescription refill from the pharmacy but was told Aetna denied the refill request because they want me to instead use a *** Pharmacy. There is no *** Pharmacy in my neighborhood, but regardless, there are better, less health-endangering ways to ask clients to use different pharmacies. There is no legitimate reason why ********* cannot fill my prescription beyond corporate greed. 1. I changed pcp approx 2+ months ago and requested new id card with new pcp"s name on it. So far customer service acknowledges my several requests and stil, I have received 5 new id cards with the old name. 2. I am not happy with the yearly check with the pcp (3) and I am still searching for a pcp that is truly interested in the well being of the patient. Aetna is simply a trash company. I did my due diligence and spoke to their "fully trained" concierges to make sure acupuncture was covered before starting treatments. I was told (by more than one concierge) that acupuncture was covered – no conditions or caveats were given to the acupuncture coverage. Low and behold, after 5 or 6 treatments, the claims were denied. I went through all the appeal processes and even lodged a complaint with the Commissioner of Insurance Office. I don’t want to give any stars! They do not deserve even 1!!! No stars! This health insurance discriminates against Type 1 diabetics. All my diabetic medications are on their highest tier. This company is charging $1,500 for 1 prescription, $1,000 for another and $800 for another. Meanwhile, my pump supplies are not covered! Basically, this insurance company is telling me that my life Isnt important...

Aetna is a horrible insurance company. Their practice these days is to deny all services requested by your physician. They are trying to tell doctors how to practice medicine when they haven’t a clue! They are ruining peoples lives and endangering productivity, quality of life, and days of life!

aetna medicare dosen't give the right information to its customers. i changed from ****** to atena because i needed dental they lied and told me i had full dental and they said i had to pay out of pocket to get reimbersed. i am not happy. also they said that i would only have to pay $43.50 and then charged $143.50.
