This place is an absolute joke. They are literally stealing people's money. They are charging copays for specialty consultations for people who visit a normal doctor. While there should be no copay, they are charging $40 a for a visit because a Dr is classified in "their system". My grandma's insurance was supposedly cancelled but no one cancel it. Then the guy turned around said that it actually was not cancelled.

I was given totally inaccurate information about added coverage through AETNA. Now I am faced with a lapse in coverage until I am able to have my previous coverage restored. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

A plodding bureaucracy, be prepared to be denied medications that are prescribed to you. I am currently over a month into trying to navigate a prior authorization. While Aetna has all of the information on file that they need to authorize my use of the medication for my illness, they are dragging their feet and denying my doctor’s prior authorizations, I can only assume because they are hoping I will give up and either ignore my medical condition or pay for the medication out of pocket. Shamefully Deficient! Customer service is incredibly inept and unable to address problems. I have an Aetna Medicare plan. They changed my ID number and claim that I owe them two premiums. I provided documentation from my bank to prove that the premiums were paid, but they still bill me for the paid premiums. I have spent hours trying to reconcile these errors on the phone and am placed on hold for 30 minutes or more. I request a supervisor, but the supervisor is unable to solve the problem either. The Silverscript Perscription Drug Plan is a scam, after I signed up in December they changed what pharmacies are in network, The price of my prescription’s were quoted as less than $10, my first Perscription was $75! Thankfully my pharmacy sold it to at out of pocket cost, $15! My wife is having the same problem! I would recommend staying away from Aetna!!

Aetna deserves 0 zeros. They have denied hip replacement surgery that I desperately need. I am in daily pain and my quality of life has greatly diminished. The customer service staff is either incompetent or not trained at all as each one gives a different and wrong answer. The doctors they use for the peer reviews are using my age to justify not approving this surgery. Aetna is the worst insurance company I have ever had. I would never recommend them. Their services are a waste of money.

I am 36 with being a two time cancer patient.and I completed the most chemotherapy in a lifetime and had the stem cell transplant. So fast-forward from then to now, I have osteoporosis and scoliosis from said treatments. If I could give Aetna zero stars I would. I have had the WORST experience and no one in Aetna seems to want to offer an apology or take fault for what happened. Unknowing to me my default card method I had my Plan on autopay failed. Aetna tried it twice. However, I never received an email, text, or phone call letting me know that this has happened. I signed up with a Medicare drug plan with Aetna Insurance through the Medicarewebsite. The plan showed that I would have out of pocket drug expenses of approx. $995.00 for the 2022 calendar year. When I tried to get a prescription for a Tier 5 drug refilled, I was told my copay would be $1,700.00 the first month and $1,400.00 a month for the remaining 11 months for a total of over $17,000.00 for the one drug for the year.
