Absolutely do NOT choose Aetna if you need any reoccurring ****With my plan (which is supposedly one of their best plans, that I pay $400/month for), *** is covered at 50% and does not go towards your deductible. So for my insulin pump and CMG supplies, I have to pay a whopping $920 every 3 months until I meet my out of pocket. How are insulin pump supplies even considered ***?? Quintessence of corporate greed. Overpriced. Total waste of money. Takes forever to get an appointment in network. Won't cover medications unless you buy from **** So much worse than Medicare. Makes me wish I were unemployed, or Canadian. Would leave 0 stars if I could.

It is impossible to see which laboratories are in the network. Awful and insulting customer support.

If you don't pay for a prescription that wasn't supposed to be mailed to you thru their mail order pharmacy they will not send you the rest of your prescriptions until you pay for it or return it. But they wait till the 90 days are almost up and won't send the return tag for you to return it. Now they are sending bills for a generic medication that you can get with a rx card for $5 at a walk in pharmacy but they want $47. Not paying.

Called multiple times to speak to a representative during their business hours, but they state their office is closed and only provide an automated phone response and no way to speak with a representative

I will give two stars because the majority of the customer services reps I spoke to did try to help. Now here is my official review since being an Aetna hmo dual preferred snp member in February of 2022. So I originally had to change from Humana because I am on a supplement and when I move Humana was not in my area. Aetna after talking to the representative had everything I needed ( so I thought). Aetna calls me to tell me my new benefits for the new year. I got disconnected and no one calls back. Iincompetent workers there, probably minimum wage

I questioned C H salesperson about being seeing my regular doctors, she put me on hold and said she checked and yes they are listed on there for me to see. Then I explained that I will be on my husbands insurance from work, she said of course you can have both. I talked with my husband and he said can’t have both, I called my doctors offices and they said they are not affiliated with them. I am so disgusted at the way this company discriminates children with special needs. My son is in need of a letter... A LETTER stating that they have denied ABA therapy in hopes of getting help from another company and they have said no over and over again. They kept me on hold for hours then hang up. I have never seen such terrible customer service over a simple document.
