One of the worst medical insurance companies I have ever dealt with. There is absolutely no accountability or concern for customers well being both when dealing with incorrect billing or simply a follow up. My wife got into a severe accident with punctured lung, broken ribs & wrist. Took her to ER and hospital moved her to trauma center via some ambulance service and quoted it as non-emergency. It gets one star because it seems good at first, until they start requiring prior Auth for everything and making those prior Auth's a pain to approve. Wastes your time, your doctors, your doctors staff, the pharmacy and any labradorite work you NEED done. Need diagnostic breast scans? Prepare to fight for it every four months. Insurances have gotten ridiculous, even the ones who used to be excellent. Who can afford anything?

Thee absolute worst health insurance I have ever had. ***owns Aetna which also owns ********* Words cannot describe the inept customer service and their seeming stance to deny legitimate health insurance claims

This company is fraudulent. I have read all the other reviews. i have been trying to get paid for a patient since March 2022. I keep being told that my checks are coming back, that they do not have the right address. I have had to call every week. Supervisors have supposedly changed my address and i call again and they have the wrong address. This is a fraudulent company. *** ** ****

I've been with Aetna for 2 weeks and already tearing my hair out. They keep giving me primary doctors that are 50 miles away despite me telling them which doctors I want. You will NEVER be able to get in contact with these guys. Live chat is useless, sending messages they will lie to you about which doctor they assigned you, calling on the phone always leads to a robot which hangs up on you. These business practices should be illegal!! Unreal!

Absolute trash customer service. I was charged $225 for some claim because "This entity or provider is not recognized for coverage or cannot be located." This is a very true statement because in trying to locate ******* ******* *****I could not find them either. I am currently on the phone with customer for the 2nd time after the first lady placed me on hold and hung up. This call has now lasted 45min and the lady will not provide me with any information on my claim as to diagnosis codes, treatment codes, or location of serv... read more

Aetna has owed me a refund check for over 3 months… they say the checks in the mail, and yet I don’t have it. 9 phone calls, and we’ll over 8 hours on the phone with them and no resolution. DO NOT GET AETNA INSURANCE… REVIEWS SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES.

I joined Aetna on August 1 through my employer. Paying good money ever since. 17 days later, I still cannot access coverage because they don't have my member ID - not even a digital one. Currently on the phone (45 minutes and counting) trying to get through to a supervisor to (hopefully) get me the member ID.
