I gave this one star because you are required to leave a star or else I would have left none. Where do I begin...the staff. They are rude, unprofessional, lack accountability, communication, and are truly some of the most careless and heartless people I have come across. The sad thing is, the complex and units are really nice but management has lacked care to maintain it, and they are cheap in their labor and the way they fix problems. This company is actually the worst company I have ever rented and apartment from. I have been renting for over 20 years here in *********. I was staying in a ****** community, it was sold to the Connor group. I'm being charged so many unnecessary fees like an HOA fee and this is not a home. I feel I'm being taken advantage of and there is never anyone I can complain to. I have called corporate 3 times with no response. My work orders are never completed unless I call multiple times. My daughter just moved out of this apartment complex and they are keeping her entire security deposit. The stove has been broke for the last three months so it could not be used. Maintenance would take forever to show up. They said that they have to replace the carpet, which was in bad condition when they moved in. I gave my 60 day notice and stated that I would be making my last rent payment on August 1, 2021. I was told, despite my lease date, that move-outs were only done on the 7th, 14th, and 21st. Therefore I had to pay for 7 days in September. Here's the thing: I was only notified this AFTER my payment was late. No one responded to my 60 notice to correct that I was to pay for the 7 days in September that I was forced to stay because of their policy. This management is absolute trash. I honestly cannot wait until the lease is up and it's only been two months. This place is trash! Please don't move here! Place sorts of nasty trash on hallways and everyone else inside the periphery. They charge for trash pickup but don't pick up trash causing a horrible odor across the properly and rotten food to feed roaches and rats Property is poorly kept! It is expensive and trashy. SCAM!!! Staff is very unprofessional, almost like working with children. They would raise their voices at us over the phone when we were just asking simple questions, the woman who showed us our apartment was more interested in talking about our jewellery and handbags than she was in showing us the property and we were lied to frequently. Have had a terrible experience with Excelsior and Grand. Didn't have a working refrigerator for months. They lied about multiple things in order to get us to sign the lease. We moved out in early June and are still working to get our security deposit back. I have worked with multiple people in the office to try and do so, however none of them actually help. Terrible.
