Avoid any apartment owned by TCG at all cost. From my observation, they run a very simple business model of buying up properties, increase the cashflow by cutting basic services and increasing rents. This is all done at the tenants' expense. Do not trust their google reviews. Their website boasts of an award for online reputation from a firm (J Turner Research) that helps manage online reputation, so take that for what it's worth. Despite their 1.19 star ranking on BBB reviews they somehow earn an A+, very suspect.

Super unprofessional, spoke with Katie at Alas at Lowry and she was short and very rude, couldn't even tell me what specials they had. Called the Connor Group customer service line and they were even MORE rude and unhelpful. Super unprofessional and ridiculous.

I had been looking for a new apartment to move to with my partner into closer to my work. The workers at Hunter's Chase apartments, handled by the Connor Group, called me in for a tour. I was the only one of the two of us able to go on the tour. After the tour they kept switching me between different t employees in the office. Each time I was told a different paper needed to be signed and finally they told me I would need to sign and pay a deposit. I told them that I was really only there to see the apartment and we would ke... read more

zero stars. purposefully misleading in the leasing terms. anyone reading this looking into renting please note that you can't break lease for any reason ever. in my case I have incurred a large medical bill, and the loss of a job. when signing my agent "helped by summarizing pages of the agreement" and purposefully lied about the early termination, saying that it was the standard 1-1.5 month rent. now that I need to get out for financial and psychology well being i am being told that it cant be broken and to leave is to pay ... read more

If I could give a zero star review I would! The Connor group recently bought out the apartment complex that I was living in here in Texas. These past three months does he have been here have been terrible!! We pay to live in luxury apartments with gated security however our gate opened permanently so that the entrance and the exit are open 24 seven for anyone to come in. Two days ago I noticed a person that was not part of our complex hiding around in the dark at 5 AM looking through windows. This is very concerning being th... read more

I’ve been living at Sonterra Blue Apartment, in San Antonio Texas for almost 5 years. I was living there for three years and a half then moved to Dallas because of my work with the agency for a year and a half, then came back to Sonterra Blue and lived there for another year and a half. I have 10 years of clean rental history, I lived in about 6 or 7 apartments in San Antonio and Dallas. Never needed to pay for cleaning but only two times, one was $75 and the other was either $125 or $175 not remember very well, All the othe... read more

I do not recommend this property, it use to be a very nice place to live but when the new management The Connor Group took ownership it has been the worse place to live. The property manager Cordelia Whitaker is rude, ghetto, she will harass you via email, text and by phone, she will lie on other coworkers by blaming them for pretending to be her (She told me that Karen that works in the office must have pretended to be her one day when calling me about renewing my lease (they raised it from $1215 to $1650 I had been there f... read more

The Connor Group took over my apartment complex end of 2020 and it's been a nightmare dealing with them. They not only increased rent tremendously but also use coercion tactics to force you to renew your lease under the guise that they are renovating your apartment. They forced tenants to pay $100 for Internet yet lied and said cable was also included. The trash fee is ridiculous. I'm sure RBS is owned by TCG which is a conflict of interest. They had tenants paying for valet trash services before the service even started. Th... read more

Do not EVER move into a TCG property. These are absolutely NOT luxury apartments. The washer and dryers they FORCE you to have are the same brand that my grandparents have. The dishwasher and fridge are rusted, small and broken. The plumbing is terrible and I can't even use the toilets without plunging them. The showers are clogged and one doesn't even work. The scammer managers lie to you as you tour the property and then deny what they promised you. There are 5-10 hidden charges that will increase your rent by hundreds. Th... read more
