I made an appointment one week ago to VIEW an apartment at *********************************. I received a text message from the location confirmation my appointment 3 hours before my scheduled appointment where I was asked what I was looking for and when I intended to move in. when i got to the office, I had to reiterate what was previously said on the phone a week earlier and in text message right before the scheduled meeting. The rental agent then went into an office where she chatted with another agent for 10 minutes. Up... read more

Tried to rent an apartment in "*************" apartments in ****** were rude and apathetic to the fact that they told my bf & I we could move In when our lease ended, (we live out of state) as we are crossing the twin span and they call us telling us we can't move in (because of a policy of having a cosigner with a 700 credit score, that is a homeowner) my bf & I are in our 20s we dont know anybody like that. They also gave us no warning about this 'policy' until after we turned our keys into our old apartment complex. What ... read more

Business response:

Per the application acknowledgment form signed, once an applicant is approved, they THEN have a lease agreement, unit, and move in date. Until the resident is approved or denied, they are not leased with us. We look at 4 different categories when approving. Credit score, Landlord, Employment and income. We don't pre-quality. Sabian nor Anissa qualified for 3/4 categories. Our cosigners must have 700 credit score, own a house, and income quality. The one that they sent doesn't quality. These are the same credit underwriting g... read more

I've never dealt with such a dishonest business. I'm a previous resident and have been told that I'm still tied to the lease despite paying all that was owed. I asked for a copy of my signed lease and was handed a lease with a different end-of-lease date and with FORGED signatures. They didn't even bother to spell my name correctly; if you're going to commit fraud at least make it believable. I've made numerous attempts to contact the complex manager and have even reached out to the regional manager in the North Texas region... read more

Business response:

Mr. M*******, You were reached out to by our attorneys for posting flyers around the property with false information about an increase in trash charge and giving out a regional vice presidents personal cell phone number. You were also reached out to about contacting the local office, central support office, and local news channels making false allegations about attempts to remedy pest control issues. As a resident, you signed a lease agreement and a resident welcome letter that states the fees a resident could be charged fo... read more

The agreement I signed with City Walk, Woodbury clearly stated at the top "shall not become effective until an application is approved by the landlord". I emailed and called to withdraw my application prior to receiving any notification of approval/denial. I was put on hold and THEN told that I had been approved and so now I was bound to the agreement. I was also told that "actually applications are automatically considered approved unless denied". What??? That's the opposite of their own agreement language. So they make thi... read more

Zero stars! Jordan used very forceful, high pressure sales tactics to get a lease extension done to lock in a lower rate. This was in February, the original lease was not up until July. She said the extension could only be done right now, and that the office was closing within the hour, and that it had to be signed now or the rent would just much higher if signed later. She was told we were not sure if we'd even be staying past the original term, but she continued to pressure for the signature. The final understanding was th... read more

Do not move here! They just fired the only Property manager that cared about the place and the families living here. Connor Group is the worst. This is the 2nd time they have fired all of the office staff since I moved in 18 months ago. I cannot stress this enough, DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! YOU WILL BE MUCH HAPPIER ELSEWHERE!!! It's incredibly over priced. Whatever you are quoted at lease signing will not be your monthly rent payment. The extra fees and charges attached to your rent are anywhere from $400-$600/ month more. The mai... read more

My wife and I Went looking for a possible apartment for my family of 5 and newborn baby. We toured ************** with Danielle, and were lead to filled out an application. She became very forceful and used a lot of high pressure sales tactics They Presented us with an "application, and application fee, just to see if we could be approved. Then stated they needed to verify our income. At the time of the application I thought I was still active as an as needed status part time status at work. Unknown to me I had lo... read more
