I usually have no problems with Fairview Heights Steak n Shake but tonight was a big difference. The cook was doing everything. The manager belittled her in front of customers. Complete bitch.
Great food and fast service. Tasty and good quality and quantities.
Everytime I come here they're out of noodles. Or out of someting.... Not good if you want that repeat business.
Slow service we all waited to long for everything 5 plates had to go back and 3 times on the same one..just a grilled cheese how hard is it..really..first time burnt 2nd time cheese wasn't melted and the 3rd time wasn't even grilled wasn't done..we all had a good laugh at the situation at the table but in all reality it was an extreme mess..and tables were dirty..and the floor was slippery from grease..very disappointed.
First try had to send back, not hot. Second try OK, not my favorite place. Probably won't return.
Very slow service ,manager on duty had food all over his clothes and looked overwhelmed. Server forgot to bring the condiments we requested and food took close to an hour. Over all not a good location
Took 25 minutes in the drive thru. Then shake was warm and burger was made wrong
They tend to forget items often and I got the cheddar cheesy the last time. All I got was the meet, cheese, and bun. They didn't bother putting my lettuce on or the mustard or tomato.
