The service was horrible. There was only a hand full of people in the restaurant. The manager had to seat us and take our drink orders since the waitress couldn’t be found. Once the waitress took our orders, very basic orders, straight from the menu, nothing extra, it took 45 minutes to get the meals. To our surprise they were wrong. The wait was not due to volume. The wait was due to lack of management. Waitresses were standing around doing nothing while we waited to be seated. It took 5 minutes to get seated. Once seated ladies seated close to us said they had been there over 5 minutes and no waitress had come to their table. The waitress that came over when they complained had the audacity to ask them if they seated themselves. That was enough for me and my wife. We left to find a restaurant that wanted our business.
This place is terrible waited 40mins to get my food. Place wasn’t even busy and the service was terrible!!!!!!!
I ordered the portabella and Swiss burger. It came out with 2 over cooked parties and cheese, I sent it back and it came back the same sandwich with a FEW mushrooms on it. Definitely was not worth the money I had to pay. Everyone seemed to be in bad moods, and people were actually walking out because they couldn't get served. And they weren't even busy. Definitely won't be back. After stopping in every month for over a year now, we were totally disappointed.
Dirty ass racist pigs I got 2 burgers and they weren’t even cooked on the inside!!! Also the manager called the cops lol like I was leaving without my fucking refund because they can’t flip fucking burgers right fuck Fairview heights !!
Yes on Saturday service at the Fairview Heights store was horrible long wait store was dirty from the entrance and people just walked out they were short staffed and the employees had no team work. I am saddened I love Steak n Shake all my memories with my dad
service was the worst. I have never seen such nasty floors. the staff was so very rude
Food is wonderful, service is the worst.
The floors were so sticky that my sandels kept sticking to it...they took forever to do our drink orders...never have I ever had this terrible experience at any steak n shake
