Went to a Staples store to use my staples gift card and was told by the cashier that they had trouble reading the gift card. I have previously used the card multiple times, my guess is that the magnetic strip has worn away such that it is unreadable. Called **************** in order to have them reissue a new one. After they confirmed that there is still balance, I was told that they have to first investigate to see if it is an issue with the system and someone would call me back 24 hours later. Twice. I bought 2 different "in stock" processors from Staples and TWICE they sent me an email saying it was not available. Seeing as how you have to have a motherboard for the processor to go on, I bought that too, from a different retailer, and have to return those items because Staples lied about inventory twice, back to back. And both those processors are still labeled "in stock."

Staples reached out to the customer to advise we did get customer feedback on the two orders. ********************** is truly sorry for the trouble in which took place and caused customers to feel mislead. We did report the incorrect information and availability of the product so that it can be updated. The charges were pending should be falling off customers card and we are making sure that it does take place.

I went to Staples at 1631 Del Prado Blvd Suite 300 Cape Coral on the Sept. 7th, 2021 sometime between 2:30 to 4:30 PM. I was printing the bar code (at least I thought I was) on my disk for returning the computer through USPS. The first copy was printed out too small and I wanted to expand. For that, I waited for at least 30 to 40 minutes for the only employee there for help. He told me that I was supposed to do it as 'self service' and he had to deal with the customers first. However, he only served no more than 10 customers... read more
