I recently started a new job and the company offers a store to buy company branded merchandise. The order was $177.44. First I made the mistake of choosing 2 day shipping for $51, and they said they fixed it for me. The order didn't update online but I took their word for it. Then I received a shipping confirmation that only some items shipped, so I should've been charged $12.35. Instead, their company charged me $177.44 three times - coming to a total of $532.35. I have been a Staples More Personal customer cardholder for 6yrs. ********************** closed my account without any warning for 2yrs of inactivity. I learned through a credit website that my account was closed. The country was in a pandemic! I purchased a $900 laptop in February 2020 using my card. My university closed due to the Covid-19 virus. Went In today to buy **** gift cards that there was an advertisement sign on the display stating there was no fee sale. Upon checking out I was told that sale was over and they proceeded to go over and tear signs down, I stated it was false advertisement and asked to speak to manager, a very young girl told me she was the manger and there was nothing she can do and walked away to the customer service counter. I purchased a printer and ink on 2/25/2022. The combined total of the purchase was $190 and change. They preauthorized my account for the total amount, however both printer and ink ended up shipping separately. I got the printer on Saturday and had multiple problems with the shipping of the ink because Staples decided to use their own delivery service Staples Fleet. I had been going to their store since 2018. I would make copies at the self service copier or at the customer service desk. I have never been asked to provide my phone number to complete a sale, at any time whatsoever. Yesterday at around 6:15 PM I went to the *******, ** store to make copies. I had too many documents to use the self service copier so I went to the copy center. I gave the employee my thumb drive and asked her to print the documents. She printed off half of them. Purchased a hand calculator on 1/8/2022 for $11.00. Forgot all about it and tried to return it on 2/24/2022. It was unopened, in the original bag with the receipt. I was told I could not return it because tech items cant be returned after 14 days. An $11.00 calculator they say is a tech item!!Wont ever set foot in Staples again.One star because you cant give zero.

On Sunday 01/16/22 I ordered business checks on the staples website. The checks advertisement stated that they took 1-2 days to produce and had various options for shipping. I opted for the one day delivery because I needed them to do payroll that week. The additional cost was $140.00. On Tuesday they called to tell me that the order didnt process. Had a horrible experience tonight. Walked into the store to return/ purchase/exchange a planner I purchased December 27. I stood at the service desk several minutes waiting for someone to come and assist me. I was in full view of the person at the printing counter and they didn't appear to call anyone or say anything to me. One couple left and another young couple were walking around and talking to someone who I could hear but not see. So f****** irritated. I've had something shipped 3 times because they claimed to have not received it. The 4th time it was sent express, and now they claim is locked up in a bin they don't have access to. I've been waiting on the same item since November. Im so f****** ****** off.
