This has to be one of the worst hospitals around ! Years ago they were amazing but now they don’t care about you ! No matter how much pain your in or anything they make you wait the doctor never even checked me out he asked a few questions ran text and out the door ! When I ask the nurse about my vision cause he did not even address it she said it should get better in a few days !! I was in the ER the other day with multiple symptoms... they said my blood work was great and just said I have vertigo... well I went to Aurora, to see my actual doctor and I was told I may have asthma and my blood work was far from ok! this isn't the first time "ST Agony" has made crucial mistakes... It's really quite sad that this is our only choice without having to drive to a different city...
I see my post was taken down. Very disappointed. We were told to apply for Medicaid when we advised we were unemployed. Asked for any type of discount for making a lump sum paymemt to satisify bill in fill as our insurance that SSM accepts did not discount the bill at all. Why would they advise to apply for Medicaid instead of accepting cash payment.
My husband was in the ER. We called to discuss bill. We asked for a discount as we wanted to try and make one lump sum payment and were denied any discount..There were no discounts or payments applied from the insurance company. We are both unemployed at the momemt but trying to take care of our obligations. They advised us to apply for Medicaid.....really. very disappointing. Not asking for a handout. Will not apply for Medicaid.
This morning was trying morning as we experience our first hospital visit since being back to OKC. When we arrive to facility, our sister had scheduled sooner ride, we meet up and head to surgery center on the 5th floor. When then find out the nurse did not schedule surgery and will have to come back another day. We currently have all members of the immediate family seeing SSM health doctors.
