I am not happy with the way my friend was treated at the ER. The staff was rude and just tried getting us up and out of there, instead of helping. I was not listened to, she was not listened to. The paperwork didn’t even show what I called about. Let’s just say mental illness isn’t believed to be a thing at this hospital. In no way shape or form was my friend okay to be released right away, and on top of having to leave, she wasn’t offered any help leaving. No one to help walk us out, or give us a wheelchair. RecommendedI had a knee replacement there in February. SSM DePaul treated me as I have never been treated. They was wonderful in every aspect. Dr. Gregory Nelson did my surgery and he’s a fabulous doctor. I still have to have my other knee done and not worried at all because the whole staff was fabulous to me. I have told so many people about my stay there and my doctor.
I went to the ER with chest pains; sat for 3 hours waiting to be seen.

RecommendedBeen in the hospital for 3 days due to high blood pressure during pregnancy. The staff have been so nice and attentive. Nurse Anita in Joyful Beginnings deserves a raise! She made me feel so comfortable and at home. I am so happy this will be the hospital that I deliver my baby in a couple more months with Dr Stewart!
