I was actually referred to Dr. Francis about 4 yrs. ago. I must say after my experience with 2 other surgerons, Dr. Francis was my choice. He explained everything to me from my MRI and X-ray and pointed out my problem and what needed to be done to correct my problem. I had my 2nd back surgery two weeks ago and I'm pleased with my surgery. I would definitely recommend Dr. Francis to anyone.

I have never had so much pain with my neck and when I went to Dr. Frances, he told me what the problem was right away after four MRI's that I started with through our family doctor. For five months I suffered in pain thinking the pain was caused by my sciatic nerve. Dr. Francis did a surgery on my husband three year ago, so I decided to make an appointment to go and see him. Long story short, following test at Dr. Francis' office, he told me that my lower spine was squeezing a disc which was pressing on a nerve. I just under went a bilateral laminectomy two weeks ago. I'm gonna try and make this short. I had a fall at work in 2011. I fell backwards hit my head and braced my fall with hands resulting in tingling in hand arm and shoulders. The 1st Dr's opinion it was wrist so after 1st operation and I still had problems, 2nd Dr. and 2nd operation was to elbows and still tingling in fingers and arms aching still not 100% I decided no more operations just manage the tingling with a nerve stimulator that was great for a few yrs untill probes moved and could not be replaced. I started seeing Dr. Francis a year ago for pain in my back. Just had ACDF surgery on my c5/6 &c6/7 on March 26th with no complicatins. He explains everything he is going to do. On my post op visit they showed me my before and after surgery exrays. It has made a big difference, no more pain or tingling in my left arm. I truly recommend Dr. Francis for any back or neck surgery you may need.

I had severe sciatic nerve pains in my right leg that restricted my mobility to about 600 yards. The first surgery with another doctor at a different facility did not help my situation. A second surgery with Dr. Richard Francis has restored my mobility; now I can walk long distances only limited by my pre-surgery ability and not by pains.
