My mom went to see Dr. Francis after struggling with back pain for quite some time. Her pain was so intense it was difficult for her to go grocery shopping or get her mail. Dr. Francis started off with some less invasive treatments, but she ultimately ended up having surgery. Dr. Francis and his office quickly got my mom on his surgery schedule and now she’s doing so much better. We are so pleased with the care she received.
I was in the worst pain possible for almost 3 months an 1 visit to Dr Francis he figured it out on that Tuesday an got me in for surgery by that Friday. All that pain is gone.
It has been since months since Dr. Francis did a laminectomy surgery to relieve the sciatic nerve pain I had been experiencing for almost a year. Since the surgery I have had no nerve pain and am able to lead a good life doing things I could not do because of the pain. I would highly recommend Dr. Francis and the staff at Spine Associates.
Dr. Francis was good and his process was effective for nerve pain in my hip that eventually went away! Thank God. It went on for over a year. So dang painful glad it gone!!!
Dr. Francis did not disappoint!! He explained everything that was going to happen and made sure I understood everything. When we arrived in Houston for surgery his staff was amazing I can honestly say I’ve never been in any hospital sitting where I was treated with such respect and genuine concern about my well-being and comfort. He performed an outdated procedure on my mom, because of it she developed fibromyalgia and still deals with chronic pain. However, he was more concerned about collecting a check and getting a “5 star review” than the quality of life for his patient. God how I wish she never went to him, she would’ve been better off. I’m not sure how he’s still practicing. He’s THE WORST!
Dr. Francis absolutely changed my life! Extremely grateful I found him after going through multiple previous doctors that could not identify my problem or help me. Dr. Francis identified the issue within seconds of seeing my imaging and I was scheduled for surgery within an hour after. After a years of increasingly persistent lower-back pain, I finally went in to see Dr. Francis in January of 2022. As a suspected, my L5-S1 disc had further deteriorated and was now bone-on-bone. Once an MRI confirmed, Dr. Francis recommended an artificial disc replacement surgery. I was hesitant because in the fall of 2021 I had spent 2 months in ICU with COVID phenomena and nearly lost my life. I can’t begin to thank you Dr. Richard Francis and spine associates for all that you all have done. I have been in back pain for years due to all the horror stories that I heard about back surgery. All I ever heard was don’t do it. I was literally in fear of the thought of the injections to the actual surgery. Trust me when I tell you it is not at all what I was told. Having surgery was the best decision I could have ever done. Again thank you so much Dr. Richard Francis.
