Dr. Francis discussed my X-ray and presented me with two options. One option was disc fusion and the other was disc replacement. Dr. Francis assured me that he could take care of the problems I was having with either option. I chose the disc replacement. The surgery went great with minimal pain afterwards. I had been suffering from neck pain for about ten years. I wish I would have found out sooner about Dr. Francis. I highly recommend Dr Francis to anyone who suffers with neck problems.
The office staff as well as the surgical staff were very hospitable, knowledgeable, and professional. Dr. Francis performed surgery on my wife. She was so pleased with the results that she recommended Dr. Francis. I am extremely pleased with the outcome of my surgery and I encourage anyone having spinal problems to visit Dr. Francis.
Dr. Richard Francis will recommend surgery whether you need it or not. He is currently paying a settlement out of court for when he performed an unnecessary surgery on someone that did not have the issue he diagnosed them with, I recommend researching this. Check his Beaumont location reviews for more info on this. He can cancel appointments and fire patients if they leave a negative review for him. After years of back pain, I had enough. Went to consult with Dr. Richard Francis of Spine Associates. Staff was friendly and professional. Dr. Francis diagnosed the issue, proposed a solution for moving forward. We scheduled an appointment to get a lower lumbar fusion of L4 and L5 and stabilize my tailbone which had almost moved completely off the vertebrae above. Two surgeries a week apart. My wife was recommended to see Dr. Francis for here back issues. The appointments were texted and phone calls to confirm appointment which was very appropriated. We had an issue with insurance that they worked out quickly the day before surgery. The office staff called us several times to resolve it. We went to see him he was very cordial helpful and kind. I had a herniated disc between c6 & c7 and needed to have a replacement surgery. I am 2 weeks post op and so far so good. I was able to get back to work pretty quick and there hasn't been a lot of pain associated with recovery. I am certainly much better than I was before. I will say that they office wait times can be very log. My longest appointment time was 2 hours. It was worth the wait to get my life back. I would recommend Dr. Francis over Fondren.
