This is a beautiful hotel but I only gave it 3 stars for a couple of reasons....we called twice prior to check in and both times were placed on hold for extensive amounts of time. When we checked in we had to wait in a line that took 40 minutes. Our room had a wet floor from some kind of leak; they quickly told us they would change our room but at almost 11pm at night with a very tired 9 year old, waiting 45 minutes for the room change was just too much. Another 5-Star Marriott property! Everything you could possibly desire... After spending 890 nights of my life staying at MARRIOTT Hotels I feel qualified to offer an opinion..
Everything was great!! We are from Anderson South Carolina and my kids loved it!! We were there celebrating my daughters 9th birthday and she didn't want to leave!! She really enjoyed the pool!!
The check in process was horrific. The manager on duty C Henderson was of no help and acted as if she could care less. We arrived to find rooms not ready at 1600, only to be told after a long drive in it couldbe a couple of hours more. We finally got all rooms by midnight. She actually left to go and get me a telephone number of her boss and never returned. The desk clerk returned to apologize and hand me a note with a name I could have gotten off the internet. Awesome customer service! I performed with the Vision Quest band and customer service was more than helpful for my needs, and I really appreciate that.
Did not like the furniture in the rooms, too low, not for older people who have trouble getting up & down. The rooms also have no drawers but views were gorgeous, pool area great, restaurants very good with good variety of spirits. Service was wonderful.
The customer service was good; however the elevator wait times were crazy.
Just ok.
Cost to much to park the room was bad the PA system didn’t work well the food were nasty and it cost too much didn’t like the Hotel will not be coming back.
