Room was clean and they even called us a few minutes after being there to make sure our room was okay. I loved it
High Recommended !!! The staying in the Southern Oaks Inn was very pleasant and enjoyable for us. We liked the location very much. The service people everywhere were very nice and polite. We liked the breakfast very much.
The Southern Oaks Inn is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. The grounds are well kept, breakfast is amazing housekeeping very meticulously perfect. I must say they offer amazing hospitality and stellar customer service while always treated with dignity and respect. The lighthouse smiles from all the staff shines the way to say, " We welcome you home".
Irma 2017 Now, no place is perfect. But I can assure you these folks are aiming at it. Not a single complaint. If they could have changed the weather, they would have tried. Perfect. And Mike, thanks for helping me with the shirt. Mark
I evacuated to Southern Oaks due to Irma. The folks here have been gracious hosts. Always asking if there was anything I needed. They welcomed me and my big 80 pound furry dog to a safe comfortable place. I highly recommend Southern Oaks Inn. The staff are professional and courteous. The room was clean and quiet. And they are so pet friendly they even have a separate dog park area. At the hotel during the evacuation they were at least 60 dogs of all sizes. We were escaping Hurricane Irma from FL to GA. Me, my Husband, 3 cats and dog. They accepted us all, despite the fact that 2 pets per room only. We were all tired and very depressed, because of our situation. These people accepted us. Lat us stay all in one room and DID NOT CHARGED FOR PETS AT ALL!� According to their police it is $15 per pet. So, we saved $60, which are very important when you have to leave your home asap without any financial preparation. They also gave us discount if we want to stay again on our way back ... read more
