We had taken a month vacation, and came across some stinker hotels on the way. Finally found the GEM that is Southern Oaks Inn, pet friendly, clean, quiet, great breakfast menu (like, REAL breakfast, pancakes and the like), the staff is friendly and polite (one guy was just passing by and saw us unloading our truck and decided to help us unload!) So close to Down town St. Augustine too, like...not even a 10 minute drive. <3 favorite stay so far in FL.
Fantastic! If you're traveling with your doggies this is the place to stay. Very friendly staff everyone was extremely nice and helpful! The rooms were clean and fairly modern. Even the outside of the building was clean. They have a very nice fenced in dog park where the pups can play and socialize. And the free breakfast was delicious! This will be our new go to place for a quick getaway!
This place is great!! I did an impromptu stop here with my dog and I couldn’t be more satisfied. Service was great, price of hotel was inexpensive (even during Christmas week), breakfast was amazing, and they even have a designated dog park for your pooch! The room was also impeccable! The hotel is 5 minutes away from downtown St. Augustine. I am definitely coming back!!
This is my new favorite hotel to stay at! As it is very close to the historic St. Augustine, it is less then 5 minutes to drive. They have a cook to order breakfast in the morning and its free with your stay. The rooms are clean and up to date. I love that there was a microwave and refrigerator in the room. They had shower gel and a shampoo pump in the shower and I liked that didn't have to ask the housekeeping for extra bottles It was a very nice hotel for us pet owners.
