My wife and I were only able to stay one night, but I'm sure we'll return to St. Augustine and to this hotel as well when we have more time. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, and we always love a place that's so kind to pets. The on site dog park is very much appreciated! Just having it makes it ideal but my only real criticism is that the dog park could use a little shade, but other than that, it's perfect. This is a top notch hotel! All of the people at the front desk were super helpful - thank you Jon for sending us to great restaurants and thank you Amy for all of the info you provided about the hotel! The rooms are super clean with very comfortable beds. No problems with the wifi at all, it's even faster than at home! Breakfast was delicious and so much appreciated since we were going out touring every day. This is where I will stay from now on in St. Augustine!!! Customer service was absolutely amazing... The rooms were perfect.. The beds were comfortable and everything was so nice and clean...The breakfast was great... I would definitely recommend Southern Oaks Inn to anyone looking for a great place to stay...
The morning breakfast served is tasty!! Beautiful grounds with gorgeous oak trees surrounding the 6 acre property. A wonderful dog park area and nice rooms with wood floors. Our little pup is having a great stay too!

Our first time in St. Augustine and was worried about finding a nice hotel at a decent price. I am very impressed with this hotel. Very clean and nice staff. My son loved the breakfast which is surprising since he's autistic and very picky about his food.
The thing that made me like this place is that you can tell they take pride in their hotel. From the rooms to the landscaping and the pool. They are polite and want to make sure your happy. My future visits to the area i will be booking this hotel.
