We have really enjoyed our experience with Smith Thompson so far. The initial installation was very quick, and the service person that came to our house was very nice, punctual, and patient. He explained everything we needed to know about the alarm. The couple times that we accidentally triggered the alarms, Smith Thompson called within a minute to ask for our passcode etc.! Always so on top of things, and we have been more than satisfied!

Smith Thompson provides an excellent monitoring service for a very affordable price with a great customer service. Their pricing is one of the lowest in the industry which is hard to beat. Their customer service is excellent with their staff being very professional and polite. I highly recommend them for the home monitoring services.
When we decided to change our monitoring system ST was recommended to us and we are so thankful. They used our existing security equipment with no problem. Quick response time, courteous and helpful. No other service can beat the price and service!
Had a great experience switching over to Smith Thompson. I saved $50 per month. Really appreciated the quick service and installation too.
Originally used ADT for security and they were charging me $65+ a month for security and other features I didn't even have. I was recommended to use Smith Thompson and have not been more pleased. Only paying around $20/month without a contract is a steal. Thanks!

It is wonderful to find a company that does not take advantage of customers. Smith Thompson doesn't require contracts at all, and the pricing is extremely reasonable. best of all, I had service set up during the COVID-19 quarantine and the installer was very polite and considerate of social distancing.
My goal was to activate the security system in the house I am renting in Austin. I wanted a simple, easy to understand arrangement with the security company. It was easy to deal with the sales department, although I would have appreciated more detailed information about the likely factors that would influence the final price. We just replaced our outdated and expensive ADT security system with Smith Thompson Security. Every contact we made with sales, support was friendly and helpful. The installation technician said our old system was usable and up-gradable to the new technology. We added cameras as well. The tech was knowledgeable, friendly and full of tips on using the system. Yesterday I had an after-hours low priority question about my security system. This morning the technical support person from Smith Thompson called and was able to answer my question about operation of remote controls for the system. Way to go Smith Thompson. I'm very happy I switched.
