We just bought our first home and switched to Smith Thompson. The install was seamless, the price can't be beat and when we accidentally set the alarm off the first week, a sales rep called in seconds to make sure everything was ok. I highly recommend them.

Smith-Thompson is A-1 in customer service and response. I have accidentally set off my alarm a couple of times, and within FIVE SECONDS, I had a call from the company wanting to know if I was okay. I feel very safe, and the system is so easy to use. The technican Shawn was able to set up monitoring using the existing system in my home, and was very thorough in showing me how to use it. I recently got Smith Thompson. The contact piece that they installed felt off after a month. Their tech came out and he asked if I had double sided tapes. I did not have it so he went to his truck to get it. He was not prepared. Last weekend, I had a false alarm because another contact piece dropped. I called tech support and request that they screw them all instead of using tapes. He said they may be able to do it. Poor products and services. I'm thinking of switching.

Certainly an easy fix....but let's go ahead and tell everyone the part you left out. This was a system that was not installed by us and we simply took over the monitoring, and you also forgot to tell them we corrected many faulty issues with this pre existing system, again that was not installed by us. We're not sure about the 'not prepared' comment as all of our technicians are more than prepared for something this easy to fix. Great Prices and Professional Staff. Tech that came to my home was very helpful with tips on different ways to set my Alarm that I did not know before. Prices never increase !!

I recently switched from HomePro Security to Smith Thompson. Wow, what an improvements. The change over was so easy. I was getting an alarm notice to the police but it was due to error code. HomePro was going to take at least 2 weeks to send a technician to assess. In the meantime, police showed up twice and the third time results in a fine. Smith Thompson was out in 24 hours, switched out 3 panels, ran a system check and we were up and running in less than an hour. I'm a big fan of Smith ******** Home Security! Their rate is only 16.95 per month and their customer service is fantastic. When they came out to turn on the existing system in the our new home they thoroughly explained how the alarm worked and took time to make sure everything was functioning as it should (and didn't charge anything for this activation visit!).
