I felt this doctor had no interest in the overall care of his patients but had a quick, smug, you’re of no financial gain to me attitude. His tone and attempt at relating to the patient was cold and indifferent. He had no bedside manners. Not what I want in any physician. I was required to give a star rating so he received a 1, but if ZERO were an option I would have chosen it.
I am trying to remain active as I get older. I love to hike and mountain bike and am not ready to give that up. I also am a special education teacher working with students who are multi-handicapped. I have been lifting for 35 years and was afraid I might have to give that up after I tore my rotator cuff. I have had knee pain for years and have mild to moderate osteoarthritis. I recently tried PRP injections in my knees with 100% relief for about 10 weeks. Dr. Smalley was awesome to work with! He was very thorough with my diagnosis; yet, laid it out where I could easily understand it. If youre Not a WC injury then you will probably get the Best Treatment Possible, but if you are WC he is Not for you at all...Very Sad
Dr. Smalley repaired the rotator cuff on my right shoulder three years ago. He repaired my left shoulder a few weeks ago. He is an exceptionally engaging, thorough and competent talent! Post-surgical results, in both cases, more than met my desired goals. Having spent the majority of my life as a senior healthcare executive in a faith-based, teaching system; I have confidence in my assessment of physicians and their support personnel.
