Was a nice place went to the Horror convention there, was a fun night.
I don't usually give hotel reviews but had to point out several things. First upon check in they held $100 on the card as a hold,room was already paid for but thats not a huge deal since hotels do this but not as much.(They reimbursed after a few days and charged me $100 again days later which I had to call the hotel to get this fixed) Then the teller says if we smoke in the room theres a 50$ charge which okay thats fine,but when we get to the room it had that musky smoke smell it was disgusting. Horrible experience. I would not recommend this hotel.
I stayed at the hotel for the weekend for Atlantic City Fashion Week. I really liked that the hotel was next to the beach and boardwalk.....and our room overlooked the beach. My only complaint is that the toilet was not clean, there was a dark ring around the inside of the bowl. There was also some mold around the the shower, but other than that I would definitely stay there again.
Very dated, employees were very good. Housekeeping couldn't count though, needed 4 extra pillows and got 2. For the price there are better options. No casino.
It has a nice upscaled home away from home atmosphere. I loved the view of the beach from my hotel window.
I highly recommend Showboat! I won’t stay anywhere else! I love the people, staff and accommodations were beyond my expectations. Sammy the valet was helpful and friendly, AC Surf School kept everyone riding the waves, Bricker’s Burgers kept our bellies full! The BEST part is that the hotel and beach is dog friendly! I was so glad to share my vacation with my fur-baby!!! She had a great time playing in the waves! Thank you Showboat for being part of our vacation and making lifelong memories. See you again shortly!
Had such a wonderful experience this weekend with my husband and friends. From the front desk service to the beautiful balcony ocean view, everything was spectacular. We got a balcony suite that exceeded our expectations! Everything was very clean and well thought out. Thank you showboat for being the only AC hotel that takes care of their guests.
